Muskoka Grown Brings its Fresh Craft Cannabis to Manitoba

BRACEBRIDGE, ON June.19, 2020 - Muskoka Grown Limited, a leading producer of high-quality craft cannabis, has shipped its first order of small-batch, fresh cannabis products to Manitoba through the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation ("MBLL"). This first shipment includes Muskoka Grown’s hand trimmed 3.5g craft cannabis that is sealed with nitrogen, arriving to you as fresh as the day it was packaged.

Understanding the top product complaints in the recreational market were related to dryness, Muskoka Grown is committed to focusing on freshness with their new 3.5g packaging. With more traditional plastic packaging, the quality of your cannabis naturally breaks down, drying out with exposure to oxygen. Replacing oxygen with nitrogen, an inert gas traditionally used in food packaging, reduces oxidation and degradation while maintaining cannabis quality and shelf life. The process also vacuum seals the product to lock in freshness and creates a recognizable sound when opened.

First launching in Delta 9 stores across the province, select strains of dried flower and pre-rolls will be available starting mid-June. Muskoka Grown plans to roll-out with additional retailers in Manitoba by the end of the month.
