Technical Support Specialist
Muskoka Grown is looking for an enthusiastic IT person to help support our growing staff and IT needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with relevant IT skills to join our team and be part of our journey as we grow in the exciting new Canadian cannabis industry.
The primary focus of this position is to provide technical support for Muskoka Grown’s staff at their corporate office and production facility with a secondary focus on network systems and infrastructure for our current and new Bracebridge facilities.
Review, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for the Muskoka Grown team.
Fully understand, learn and operate the network and internal Muskoka Grown production facilities systems.
Perform PC and MAC network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose software or hardware related issues.
Provide information system support to the Muskoka Grown facilities and team.
Assist in configuring and installing network hardware at the Muskoka Grown facilities
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, and Chrome OS environments.
High degree of proficiency with business applications i.e. Office, GSuite.
Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity and general network issues.
Experience with cat6 terminations and large cable management projects
Ability to work as a team or independently within little direction from management.
1-3 years experience working in a technical support role (Required)
Post Secondary Diploma or degree (Required)
