The Sanitation Facilitator will be responsible for sharing all sanitation activities as directed by the Sanitation Supervisor. The position requires full time 40 hours a week, as well as flexibility to work extra hours, or different shifts as required. Benefits after 3 month probation period.
Utilize cleaning agents and sanitation tools to sanitize interior/exterior production
Measure and mix correct amounts of cleaning solution
Maintain communication with other departments as well as management
Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals
Must be able to work in areas of high heat
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency
Must be able to handle heights
Comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices
Able to comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain proper documentation in all formats of record-keeping
Must be able to provide a background check
Qualifications & Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, strong attention to detail
Sanitation activities include but not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors and ceilings, cleaning/sanitizing sinks, cleaning and sanitizing harvest equipment, maintain regular organization and cleanliness of production areas
Experience in sanitation or related position is an asset
Experience in the food industry, hospitality, or pharmaceutical industry an asset
High school or equivalent (required)
